If times are hard for you, and you plan to have a penny pintching halloween, then a homemade cotume is probably the best idea. Try traditional cheap characters like witches, scare crows, angels, devils, zombies, your favorite sports team player, farmer, construction worker, vampire, a celebrity or one of your friends.
If you are not as strapped for cash, try renting a costume. When Halloween is over, your costume worries are over. You don’t have to bother with storing it or having a repeat incident on next Halloween.
The good news is, costumes are becoming cheap. You can go to an auction site or a regular retailer site. We provide plenty of retailer links on every page of this site. When you are done, you can sell it next year to help pay for your new costume. You can always resell it later if you never use it again, or pass it on to friends and relatives. Renting a halloween costume is an option though, and we wanted to make you aware of it.
